Highshool sport performance test
Sport performance test before start at University:
Before studying at sports colleges, the sport-motor skills are tested during an examination.
The test requirements of the disciplines (sports) to be implemented vary in part among the universities.
On occasion, I find that the requirements for badminton are underestimated and punished with a high error quotation.
Ergo: Garden badminton skills are not enough !!!
Depending on skill and talent, I rate 5-10 (or more) training hours with a badmintontrainer. Alternatively, an experienced player may be able to help. He should be competent. A good player is not always a good teacher (and vice versa).
Please contact me to prepare for the performance test, or for badminton tests at the secondary level I + II.
Depending on the sports school, the following badminton-specific requirements were set:
High additional service:
From the standard impact position with high trajectory and with a differentiated minimum length for men and women. The shuttle is to reach the predetermined lines and can also land behind the playing field. The student has 3 attempts.
Forehead Overhead Clear:
From the middle field area high and wide into the baseline area of the other court side with performance-differentiated minimum stroke range for men and women. The shuttle has to reach the predetermined lines, and can also land behind the playing field. The student has 3 attempts.
From the middle field area clearly over the server in the central area of the playing field. The meeting point of the ball must be clearly above the shoulder axis. The student has 3 attempts.
In the game, the tactical bases of the offensive and the defensive are demanded in order to insist in the discipline. Partially special hit sequences are to be completed.
Badminton rules and counting methods.
Running technique and space division:
E.g. appropriate hitting-positions.
Impact Combination Exercise:
For the demonstration of sport-specific basic techniques, the striking techniques long-impact, overhead clear, drop, underhand clear and smash are tested in a strike combination exercise. In doing so, a high tempo and precise placements are positively evaluated:
- Player A: Long serve
- Player B: Overhead Clear
- Player A: Drop
- Player B: Underhand Clear
- Player A: Overhead Clear
- Player B: Smash
- Then play the rally.
In order to demonstrate the appropriate use of the basic techniques and the appropriate behavior, an individual game is completed.
